Springs at Hammock Cove Apartments

My A/C has not been working for quite a while. Frank called me yesterday that he has the new part and he has it up and running! Frank was so nice texting me and letting me know how it was coming along. He also was kind enough to check my dishwasher that was not working properly. He fixed everything and is a real professional and keeps the residents informed. What a great team member Maintenance has with Frank! Thank you very much!

Look elsewhere. I’ll start by saying the manager at this complex is completely incompetent and shouldn’t hold the position of manager. Here’s what happened while we lived there: 1. On several occasions someone wrote “you are cute” on my daughters car in the morning. Only a creep would write this. (Photo attached and office notified) 2. A few months later my daughter left for work and heard something dragging under her car. She stopped to check what the noise was, and noticed a knife was stuck directly under the drivers door in the undercarriage of the vehicle. (Photo attached and office notified). When I asked if the office could review their security cameras ,where the sign specifcally states surveillance cameras, I was told that it wasn’t a camera and it’s just a spotlight. The only cameras are on the dumpster and the front gate. Real nice 3. The noise from the 2nd floor apartment is ridiculous. Don’t ever get a first floor apartment. You’ll be woken up because it appears that it’s not insulated well. 4. 3 maintenance calls to fix dishwasher. Maintenance responds rather quickly however, problem not fixed, so to use dishwasher we had to constantly reset breaker. 5. Don’t be fooled when they say it’s a “gated community”, when the gate is not broken and someone enters the gate, multiple cars can follow in behind that person allowing unwanted persons to enter. There is no gate attendant. 6. 4 times our online rent payment came back “NSF/Unable to locate account”. During attempts to double check routing and account numbers, it does not allow you to see what you entered previously. So I re-entered everything and triple checked the numbers and would still be returned with an extreme amount of late charges which were all paid immediately. With the severity of a couple of these incidents, you would think the manager would call or email me to see how they could help. Maybe offer to put up security cameras, add security, etc. I made a suggestion to give my daughter a reserved parking spot, and it took them almost 3 weeks to assign her the spot. I was left to handle all this with a leasing agent who had just a few months on the job while I was back up north and they were fully aware that I was rarely living there and my daughter was most of the time living there alone. Don’t let the looks of this place fool you, there’s a weird aura to this place.
